- My motto is "Good Design Pays" I graduated to my current position of architectural designer, with an ASET classification of Certified Engineering Technologist , CET, by starting out as a mason in Frankfurt , Germany. After working for various builders and architects in Calgary, Alberta, I started my own consulting firm in 1961.
